Because How Could I Not

I’ll keep posting photos of Bambu Indah, because, how could I not? The new Honeymoon House, with it’s copper roof perching on a hillside, overlooking the river and the Nayan Pools – it’s a miracle of location, design and nature. It’s uniquely Bambu Indah. Another gem from Elora Hardy and Ibuku <3

Bambu Indah Sunrise

Bambu Indah, famed for it’s sunsets, also rocks an awesome sunrise. I was there this morning for 7am to join John Hardy on his daily trash walk. Friends, and guests of the hotel join John, with bags around their necks, and spears in hand, to collect trash throughout the community. The trash is then all brought back to be sorted, sold (the plastic bags go to Enviro Pallets) and recycled. Initiatives like this are urgently needed in Bali, and this project is not only creating jobs for locals, but spreading awareness and change. Bring it on. I’ll be back for more.
